Happy Guru Nanak Jayanti Wishes | Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday | Guru Nanak Gurpurab

Today (Kartik Purnima) is Guru Nanak Jayanti, who was the founder of Sikhism. Hence today, let’s remember his teachings & inculcate the same in our lives, which’ll be the best tribute to him.

Just one soul was so powerful that he transformed & benefitted the lives of millions around & continues to do so even today… Similarly, even all of us have the potential to benefit numerous around through our elevated transformation and feeling of good wishes, love & compassion for all.

He used to say ‘Chadhti kalaa, tere bhaane sarva ka bhala‘ … Hence, when we experience spiritual attainments & progress ahead, everyone around us is automatically benefited through our divine vibrations, sparkling face, sweet words, royal behaviour & elevated character.

His picture has finger pointing upwards & always said ‘Ek Omkar Nirakar‘ i.e., God is One, Incorporeal & lives above. Hence he never called himself God, but always encouraged everyone to ‘Jap Saaheb’ i.e., remember God (the true Satguru, whom he called Waahe Guru). Hence, let’s fulfill his true wish by connecting directly to God, thus become full of all attainments.

The Sikhs in Punjab are known for their courage, valour & bravery. Hence, let’s also become determined & strong towards our old habits of anger, hurt, etc to become victorious over them.

He said ‘Simar Simar Ram naam’, ‘Simar Simar Sukh Pao’, etc hence pointing out that true happiness actually lies in churning spiritual knowledge, remembering the different titles relations & attainments from God (i.e., meditation) & inculcating divine virtues within ourselves. Hence, when we’re in such an elevated state of mind, it automatically enhances our work efficiency, creativity & job satisfaction and also ensures we’re able to give our best in relations.

Guru Nanak ji praised God using the following words:

  • Ek … Hence, God is One
  • Omkar… God’s the Highest
  • Nirakar… Incorporeal
  • Sat naam… Truthful
  • Karta Purush… The Doer ie., Creator of the New World
  • Akal murt… Free from the influence of kaal (ie., death)
  • Ajuni, Ajanma … i.e., Doesn’t take birth like us, through the womb of a mother
  • Abhokta… i.e., He doesn’t take anything from anyone, but keeps giving always!
  • Nirbhay … Fearless
  • Nirwair… Free from feelings of revenge (wair)

Hence, let’s inculcate all of God’s virtues in our life, to become His true faithful child!

Each of these great holy fathers (Guru Nanak Dev, Jesus Christ, Abraham, Gautam Buddha, Mohammed, Mahavir, Sai Baba, etc) didn’t come to establish different religions, but just came to give the message of love, compassion, unity, goodness, love for God, etc… It’s much later when we started connecting only to the teachers (who were different) rather than their teachings (which were the same) that we started dividing ourselves in terms of our religion… Hence today, let’s realize that all our great fathers actually gave the same message & wanted to unite us, we’re all One, to emerge the same unity again. Indeed, we’re all One being children of one Supreme Father and having the same original virtues of purity peace love & happiness.

We also know poet Kabir’s sayings that ‘Manushya se devta kiye kartan laagi vaar’… It means, when God descends and starts sharing His spiritual knowledge & teaching meditation, it doesn’t take much time for Him to transform us from humans to deities…

Conclusion (Happy Guru Nanak Jayanti Wishes)

Hence, let’s re-connect to God, keep listening to His divine spiritual knowledge & experiencing the fountain of His divine vibrations of peace love & happiness… Indeed, while doing everything outside, let’s remain engrossed in creating elevated spiritual thoughts & experiencing different aspects of this most beautiful relationship with God. This will make our transformation very easy & natural and make us like living deities, also inspiring everyone’s progress around. Hence, when all of us start becoming deities in this way, the world outside will automatically transform into the New World Satyuga once again!

Om Shanti!
